Technical translations and editing: IT (system specifications, proposals, etc.), telecoms, gaming, and more. I have seven years experience translating and editing in these fields for major consulting, IT, games editors and telecom companies.
Editorial and technical writing: Writing is both my favorite pasttime and my job. My current position, held since January 2006, is as Senior Technical Writer at the Sophia Antipolis offices of IT systems and services provider Sopra Group. I've also written editorial works for websites and a print magazine.
Website localization: When localizing your website, you'll need a translator with web programming skills: I've been writing HTML by hand since 1994, according to W3 standards, and am also familiar with CSS and common languages such as PHP and JavaScript. I edit the code by hand: every effort goes into keeping your site design intact - only the words will change.
Tourism, cultural and other general translations and editing: Editor of The Everything French Phrase Book published by Adams Media. Translator of Olive Trees Under Every Angle and Germinal Casado: Danza Viva published by France Europe Editions. As an avid reader and student of cultures myself, I have strong skills in these areas and seven years of professional experience with major clients to back it up.
